Delete your account

You can initiate permanent account deletion inside MyCal. Here is what to do and what happens next.

Delete your account in MyCal

  1. Open MyCal and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Open the Profile tab.
  3. Select Account, then Delete Account.
  4. Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.
Important: deleting the MyCal app from your iPhone does not delete your account. You must use the in-app Delete Account control or contact us for help.

What deletion removes

Account deletion removes or de-identifies the MyCal account information associated with you, including your profile, goals, food entries, submitted food images and saved nutrition results, unless a limited record must be retained for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or security reasons. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until overwritten in the ordinary course.

Cancel your Apple subscription separately

Deleting your MyCal account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select MyCal and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple controls App Store billing and refund decisions.

Cannot access the app?

Email privacy@mycal.app from the email connected to your MyCal account and use the subject “MyCal account deletion request”. We may ask for limited information to verify account ownership before deletion.
